Voice to Parliament: Information Night with Indigenous Leaders

With a nation defining Referendum to be held in Australia during 2023, Virginia joins key Indigenous Leaders, Prof Meghan Davis and Pat Anderson AO, both lead architects of the Uluru Statement from the Heart, to facilitate a public discussion about the Referendum and the Voice to Parliament. They are joined by ACT Ngunnawal Elder, Aunty Violet Sheridan and ACT Independent Senator, David Pocock, who is host of this event.

‘Welcome to Australia’ Book Launch

Virginia to launch the delightful book, ‘Welcome to Australia’ by Felicity Banks. An initiative to support new refugee arrivals and young migrants to the Australian community, this picture book for children is translated into six languages and will be launched by Virginia atPulp Café Bookshop, Gold Creek, Canberra, 4.30pm.

Feared and Revered: Feminine Power through the Ages

To mark the launch of this historic exhibition, in partnership with the British Museum, Virginia will host a panel discussion with curators Dr Belinda Crerar; Dr Lissant Bolton; Dr Cheryl Crilly; and guests Dame Quentin Bryce; Kassidy Waters and Rabia Siddique.
